This is a fantastic opportunity for an Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian to join the supportive team in a 24-hour well-established practice.
Enjoy a varied and exciting caseload with access to 24/7 support from the rest of the team. You will also have the chance to work and interact with specialists in areas such as Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Critical Care, Dentistry, Dermatology and Reproduction.
A competitive remuneration package is on offer. As well as input into a roster designed to maximise work-life balance. The practice ensures its staff can rest and rejuvenate by having structured systems in place to prevent overtime, which includes, protected time on shift to complete notes and hospital vets to streamline your workflow.
The successful candidate will preferably have two years' minimum experience as a veterinarian. They will be an enthusiastic, passionate individual who can work efficiently and autonomously but loves practising standard gold medicine in a team environment with facilities that boast all the bells and whistles. They would be expected to act as a clinical mentor to our rotating intern cohort.
This position is a perfect role for an experienced veterinarian wanting to prepare for membership examinations in Emergency and Critical Care or intending to apply for residency training programs in Emergency and Critical Care or allied specialities. The clinic has high staff retention rates and would love to employ a committed individual who wants to grow with their service. The practice is well-equipped and the hospital is world-class.
The employer is willing to assist with visa sponsorship (work permit) for qualified overseas veterinarians. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
The practice is situated in a sunny subtropical climate that brings the most exciting emergency presentations (ticks, snakes, toads, toxicities, heat stress…). It is easily accessible to the beautiful beaches and hinterland of the Sunshine and Gold Coasts.
Please apply now if you would love to be challenged by an exciting future with this amazing team!
