Due to an internal promotion, this practice is thrilled to announce a current vacancy for an Emergency Day Veterinarian to join their experienced team in either a full-time or part-time capacity. This role offers a diverse and dynamic environment where you can expand your skills and knowledge. Working with a team of specialists across multiple disciplines you will have the opportunity to handle complex and interesting cases. You will be integral to helping the team achieve their vision of delivering the best possible care to the hospital's patients, their owners and referring veterinarians.

This position will involve a four-day week. Shifts are 6 am to 8 pm on weekdays. There may be occasional weekend shifts.

- Holds a BVSc or equivalent and registration to practice in Australia.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The team works in a fully equipped 24-hour hospital with a brand new Siemens SOMATOM Scope CT scanner, MyLab Twice ultrasound, radiology, endoscopy, arthroscopy, fully equipped surgical suites, separate dog and cat wards/waiting areas, 24-hour Intensive care and ventilator support and access to an MRI.

The hospital is located in a picturesque coastal location in south-east Queensland, offering a perfect blend of beautiful beaches and natural landscapes.
