A practice North East of Adelaide welcomes applications from experienced equine veterinarians to join their growing team!

This is an opportunity to work at a progressive equine practice with a focus on providing gold standard care. The team service large thoroughbred breeding and racing operations, as well as a large sport and pleasure client base.

This position will see you work closely with the current team of three experienced veterinarians (one of which has approximately 40 years of experience) to service their racing and breeding clientele. The reproduction caseload is expanding with a high demand for Embryo transfer and artificial insemination. There is also the freedom to pursue special interests and build your own client base.

Full-time vets typically work five days a week, from 8 am - 5 pm. After-hours is shared with added incentives paid. After-hours won't be required until vets feel fully comfortable in participating in the roster and would be fully supported.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The practice is fully equipped with the latest digital technology, including x-ray, Ultrasound and endoscopy, and also have access to Equinosis Lameness Locator, Gastroscopy, power dental equipment, PRP/IRAP facilities, shockwave, Porta-safe stocks and ECG.

There is a hospital base with stabling, yards, crush and treatment areas, and developments are underway, with a theatre due for completion in 2023.
