This award-winning practice is RCVS Accredited and ISFM Gold cat-friendly. The successful applicant will be well-supported by a fantastic management team, allowing for abundant opportunities for clinical progression. This veterinary hospital sees an interesting and complex caseload.
The successful applicant can choose from the following:
- Full-time role involving 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 weekends. There is no sole charge work. Saturdays and Sundays are 10-hour shifts.
- Part-time role consisting of 35 hours per week across four days, Monday to Friday.
- Consulting only role.
- Mix of consulting, surgical and inpatient hospital shifts.
To apply for a general practice position at this hospital, you will need to be proficient in working in the UK for some time and be confident with routine surgery under no supervision.
The employer is keen to hear from vets with experience in dermatology, ophthalmology, laparoscopy and soft tissue surgery.

Following a recent extension, the workspace has almost tripled, and the facilities have been developed. The practice is well-equipped with digital x-ray and advanced ultrasound with doppler, dental x-ray, Lasercyte haematology, flexible video gastroscope, flexible bronchoscope, video otoscope and rigid scope, APTT/PT, Angio/Felv/FIV/Giardia/Parvo/ProBNP, Transfusion Medicine, Lipid/Colloids and Catalyst Dx including Lactate, T4, NH3, Electrolytes.
