Full Time Equine Vet Job in NZ - 208,932SB2

A two-site practice in the Manawatu-Whanganui region of New Zealand has an opportunity available for an equine vet to join the team.

There are seven equine vets currently employed at this busy practice. Vets are supported by an equine vet nurse/manager and an equine technician.

This role would suit an experienced equine vet who has an interest in surgery.

The successful applicant will be based at one branch that has a purpose-built clinic for lameness work ups, advanced treatments and routine surgeries. The practice also has secure stables, yards and paddocks for in patients, and a purpose-built loading ramp for side and back loading horse trucks.

The clinic offers a mobile service as well as in-house consultations and offers dental services, lameness workups, ultrasound, endoscope, digital x-ray, reproductive services and minor surgical procedures.

The practice is located close to a number of beautiful gardens, cafés and shopping centres. The Manawatu-Whanganui Region is known for its mountains and rainforests. With multiple hiking tracks in the area, it's a great location for exploring.
