Full Time Vet Job Channel Islands - 213,454LH2

A progressive practice on the Channel Islands is seeking an experienced small animal clinician to join the team.

The employers are keen supporters of CPD up to AVP level. Currently, the team has a small animal medicine AVP with a further vet studying for dermatology.

Vets are supported by a large team of 16 RVNs, as well as a fantastic admin team.

On offer is excellent remuneration based on experience and a flat rate of 20% tax.

There is also a role for a vet to become part of the dedicated night-time service offered by the practice (7 nights on and 14 days off).

The hospital has most of the usual toys, including DR Xray, Video endoscopes, Operating Microscope, TPLO saws, Fracture Kits, Arthroscopy, Physiotherapy/Hydrotherapy unit, Digital dental Xray machine, Ultrasound, Surgivet monitors, and a CT.

The island offers an excellent living standard, with Europe just across the water. Water sports are massive on the island - kayaking, SUP, surfing, fishing, boating, wakeboarding, etc. The island is varied, with long sandy beaches and coastal green cliff paths - perfect for walking dogs.
