A position has arisen to work across two sister clinics in the Hunter Region of New South Wales.

Nurses are experienced and highly trained, carrying out nurse consults allowing time for vets to focus on being vets, with the current vet-to-nurse ratio being 1:3.

The position will see the successful candidate work full time (four days per week and a rotating Saturday) across two clinics.

Ideally, applicants will have experience working in a small animal practice in both consults and surgery. Candidates should have the ability to work with fellow team members and build rapport with clients while having a positive and friendly attitude and a desire to grow and develop their career.

Sponsorship (work permit) is considered for experienced overseas vets. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The hospitals are equipped with all the bells and whistles needed to provide exceptional care, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, two consult rooms in each practice, a puppy pre-school and a cat card. One of the clinics is soon to be rebuilt into a beautiful new clinic.
