Would you like a small animal role with good exposure to emergency cases.. but without the night shifts?

This is an exciting opportunity for a vet who enjoys a challenge to join a talented team in Greater Manchester.

This is a first opinion practice with its own dedicated OOH service. They also provide OOH veterinary treatment for local veterinary practices in the area, which means they have good exposure to ECC cases. The practice employs a dedicated night team, therefore no night work is required for this role.

The team includes multiple certificate holders in ECC and surgery, with others currently studying towards their certificates.

The rota is flexible, allowing for an excellent work-life balance. You will work 4 days a week and 1 in 6 weekends, followed by a week off. This means an extra week off every six weeks in addition to a generous holiday allowance.

Holiday entitlement is 6.6 weeks pro - rata, including Bank Holidays. Benefits also include Healthshield, private medical care, pension, life insurance and a CPD allowance of £1750 per annum. The salary for this position is £40,000 - £63,000 depending on experience.

Sponsorship will be considered for overseas applicants. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science or other relevant qualification, and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner.

The practice is conveniently located only 30 minutes from the centre of Manchester by Metrolink.
