A companion animal veterinarian is required to join a team of progressive, enthusiastic veterinarians at a mixed practice in the Waikato region of the North Island.
In this full-time role, which allows for an excellent work-life balance, you will receive full support from other team members in their Best Practice Accredited clinic using Infovet and state of the art equipment.
The ideal candidate should be confident, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, and generally promote and provide an efficient, professional service to our clients. The successful applicant will work with a multi-vet team who are encouraged to be innovative and creative.
Clinic hours are 8 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday, 9 am to 12 pm on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays. After hours are shared amongst the team, and this will involve companion animals only.

This is a purpose-built hospital that is part of a group of three practices. Equipment at the clinic is up to date and includes digital x-ray, ultrasound scanner, anaesthetic machine, Idexx blood machine, fluid pumps, multiparameter machine and dental machine.
The practice is located in a beautiful area of New Zealand, close to mountains, lakes, the beach, and a major city. There are many outdoor activities to keep you busy on your days off, including fishing, hiking and water sports. There are shops, schools, and hospitals close by.
