An exciting opportunity for a veterinarian to join a five-vet mixed practice in the Riverina region of NSW has become available!

The AVA Employer of Choice Accredited practice provides sheep and cattle health programs, bull testing, ultrasound pregnancy diagnosis and disease investigation. The practice sees a great mix of large and small animal cases. The mix of work is likely to be 70% small animal and 30% large animal (beef cattle, sheep and some equine). Vets at the practice also see a varied range of interesting emergency work that comes with rural practice.

The role would be well-suited to a veterinarian who is seeking a good mix of surgery and medicine, including some reproduction work.

The dedicated, five-vet team provide high standards of care to all animals. This is a full time role. Typically, vets will work 76 hours across a nine-day fortnight.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
