A 20-veterinarian practice located in rural North Yorkshire is seeking a highly skilled small animal veterinary surgeon to join their independently owned, RCVS-accredited facility.

The practice boasts high-quality support staff, including qualified RVNs, SVNs, and VCAs, and an experienced and friendly veterinary team engaging in regular in-house clinical meetings and discussions.

The ideal candidate will be proactive and enthusiastic.

The position offers a diverse range of work and can be customized to fit the individual's areas of interest.

The small animal surgery is well-equipped, including two veterinarian consulting rooms and one nurse consulting room, a separate large operating theatre, a spacious prep room, a separate room for radiography and ultrasound scanning, an isolation room, and separate kennels for cats and dogs. The practice is equipped with in-house biochemistry, critical care analyzer, standard and dental digital radiography, ultrasound for both abdominal use and echocardiography, ECG, and diathermy, among other tools.

Twenty-minute time slots are allocated for consultations.

The ideal candidate will work 4 or 5 days a week. Flexible working hours are available for the right candidate.

The practice is located in a small market town near York and surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Moors and the Howardian Hills. It is also easily accessible through the main road and rail networks.
