This privately-owned 5 full time and 2 part time vet practice in Coastal Western Australia would love to hear from new graduates who are interested in becoming mixed practice vets.

The practice is looking for a new graduate with:

- Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be registered with the Western Australian Vet Surgeons Board (or the ability to be registered).

- A happy, outgoing personality with great communication skills.

- A willingness to learn.

- The desire to experience all that a rural mixed vet career has to offer, including races, afterhours and both small and large animal work

On offer is:

- A four-day working week with a rotating RDO (8am till 5:30pm).

- Three-day long weekend after on call weekend (On call will only commence when ready, with full support provided). Currently having 4 day weekend after on call weekend which we would like to maintain

- Five full time vet team with multiple over 10 years' experience.

- Support of a great nursing team, both during normal operating hours and always available after hours. You will never be in the clinic on your own with nurses attending every after hours call in

- 24/7 support - the boss is happy to come in after-hours if required and is always available by phone.

- Four weeks annual leave + one week's study leave per year

- Paid CPD with no limits

- Exposure to a wide range of animals and cases

- Regular social events and team lunches

- Multi-week coffee runs delivered to the clinic.

- The opportunity to work at a growing a clinic that provides support but maintains a small, family feel.

- 1:5 on call weekend (When the candidate is ready).

- 50% professional fees paid on top of salary for after-hours work

- 1:5 Saturday shifts (8:45am - 12:30 pm) Correlating to on call weekends, additional Saturday shifts are available if wanted

- A clinic equipped with all the toys to help with the varied caseload, including digital x-ray, portable equine x-ray, IM3 dental, equine gastroscope, electrocautery surgical equipment, ECG, SmartFlow, BM7 patient monitoring, portable horse crush and more!

The practice is located in a vibrant, growing coastal town with a wide range of cafes, shops, cinema, pubs, great schools and outdoor activities, including dolphin and whale watching, fishing, and numerous sporting groups.
