A veterinarian is required at a vet clinic on the Mornington Peninsula, famous for its beautiful scenery and award-winning wineries. The clinic backs onto the beach and is close to a variety of boutique coffee shops and cafes.
This coastal, boutique-style clinic has huge windows with plenty of natural light and offers a varied caseload with frequent visits from wildlife. This position provides an ideal opportunity for a veterinarian who is looking for their next professional opportunity. The position could be as an associate vet or in a lead role.
As a veterinarian, you will:
- Lead by example & assist in creating a positive culture & working environment;
- Treat animals medically and surgically, administer and prescribe medications, analgesics, and general and local anaesthetics;
- Determining the presence and nature of abnormal conditions by physical examination, laboratory testing and through diagnostic imaging techniques, including radiography and ultrasound;
- Performing a variety of surgical procedures;
- Advising clients on health, nutrition, and care of their pets.
