Are you a dedicated Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist seeking a rewarding career with a diverse caseload at your fingertips?

An established referral practice requires an Internal Medicine Specialist to join their experienced team in a full-time or part-time capacity.

As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating complex medical cases, collaborating with other specialists, and contributing to their mission of delivering the best possible care to patients, their owners and referring veterinarians.

The ideal applicant:

- Will be eligible to register as a veterinarian in Queensland and be qualified as a specialist in Internal Medicine, Fellow (ANZCVS) or Diplomate (ACVIM, ECVIM-CA).

- Has exceptional communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The team works in a fully equipped 24-hour hospital with a brand new Siemens SOMATOM Scope CT scanner, MyLab Twice ultrasound, radiology, endoscopy, arthroscopy, fully equipped surgical suites, separate dog and cat wards/waiting areas, 24-hour Intensive care and ventilator support and access to an MRI.

The hospital is located in a picturesque area in south-east Queensland, offering a perfect blend of beautiful beaches and natural landscapes. You can experience many recreational pursuits, cultural activities, and a warm climate all year round. On your days off, you will have the freedom to explore stunning beaches, breathtaking tropical rainforests, a selection of theme parks and plenty of sunshine to soak up!
