Mixed Practice Vet Job Southern Highlands NSW - 220,621LH2

Looking for a tree change? Work at a practice with a family feel in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales.

Both experienced vets and new/recent graduates are encouraged to apply. New graduates will benefit from a supportive environment where they can learn and grow.

The growing, privately owned sees approximately 50% small animals and 50% production animals; however, this can be tailored to suit the applicant. The large animal work is made up of cattle (a mix of dairy and beef) and sheep (no equine work).

The clinic is equipped with new in-house IDEXX diagnostic equipment, including digital X-ray and ultrasound facilities (for small animals and large animals). The computer software is cloud-based veterinary software and fully integrated with the diagnostic equipment.

Vets are supported by an experienced nursing team and a dedicated manager and receptionist team.

One of the vets at the practice is a registered AAV and has memberships in dairy cattle medicine. They are also bullcheck and pregcheck accredited, with an interest in reproduction.

This is a full time role, and ideally, the successful vet will work 4-5 days per week (negotiable). Currently, on-call is one night per week. After-hours is shared with another practice in the area.

The practice is located in a growing area in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. It is conveniently situated just an hour south of Sydney and less than an hour from the coast, with stunning surroundings and countryside towns.
