A great opportunity has arisen for a senior vet to join a well-equipped, A-class practice in northwest Sydney.

In this role, you will work withing an amazing team of six vets with varying levels of experience, some having worked at the practice for over ten years. There are 3-4 vets rostered on each day across consulting and surgery. Vets benefit from a high nurse-to-vet ratio, dedicated receptionists, a head nurse, and a practice manager. The management team supports and encourages all staff to grow, expand their knowledge and improve their skills with continuing education.

Vets at the practice have varying interests; medicine, soft-tissue surgery, ECC, pocket pets and orthopaedics, including TPLO' s & TTA's. Specialists also visit regularly, allowing vets to keep cases in-house wherever possible.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

Ideally, this position is to work full time (40 hours per week) with 1:4 weekends. No after-hours required.

Located in Sydney's north-western suburbs, the practice is in a modern, family-friendly area surrounded by restaurants, cafes, shops and amenities. The area is now accessible by the new Metro train line, allowing faster connections to Sydney's CBD.
