A privately owned 7-vet mixed practice in a beautiful wine region in Country New South Wales is seeking a new member to join their dedicated team.

New and recent graduates are encouraged to apply! The team have employed new graduates in the past, and they are very happy to train and mentor.

The large animal caseload consists of mostly equine plus beef cattle, sheep, alpacas, goats and more. The equine work includes racetrack work, lameness workups, scoping, radiology, thoroughbred breeding, pleasure horse breeding, repository radiographs for yearling sales and ambulatory work.

The role will see you join a team of 7 vets and 18 support staff who go above and beyond to welcome and support new staff. They pride themselves on providing excellent levels of care. The nursing team are amazing, supportive, knowledgeable and experienced. The employer focuses on working and communicating as a unified team.

There are two positions available, and couples are welcome to apply. The roster allows for a great work-life balance. There is a rotating after-hours and weekend rota.

On offer is:

- Experienced vet salary of $120,000-$140,000 + super

- New graduate starting salary of $80,000 + super

- Access to a fully equipped clinic vehicle

- Accommodation for at least the first 3 months

- AVA membership & VSB registration paid

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

This is a well-equipped practice, including digital radiology, ultrasound, iM3 dental, ECG, full Idexx lab, orthopaedic equipment, and ophthalmic equipment. The team utilise Rx Works.
