A truly mixed, privately-owned, purpose-built practice near the coast of South Australia is open to hearing from experienced vets with a keen interest in mixed practice. This is a great position for a vet who wants to sink their teeth into a high-quality, progressive mixed practice with opportunities to climb the ladder.

The practice presents a laid-back lifestyle. You will enjoy working alongside a bunch of great people, all of whom are driven to provide excellent care and service, love to learn and have mastery over their craft! You will be backed by a supportive management team whilst having autonomy over your career.

The ratio of small to large animal work will depend upon your strengths and interests. The current mix of work is approximately 50% beef and sheep, 40% small animal and 10% equine/other.

The successful applicant will work a 9-day fortnight. Shift times are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. There is minimal after-hours work, with a 1 in 4 weekend commitment required. You will be generously rewarded for on-call work plus payment for travel time.
