A rare opportunity has arisen for a veterinary nurse to join the team at a privately-owned, high-quality, ASAVA accredited veterinary hospital in Melbourne's leafy inner south eastern suburbs.

This position will be starting in early 2024.

It is a varied and exciting role for an experienced nurse.

The ideal nurse will be motivated and proactive with exceptional communication and organisational skills. Candidates should also be compassionate, warm and enjoy leading by example.

Applicants should have Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, Associate Diploma in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor In Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).

The position is full-time with some Saturday work.

This busy 13-vet (8 full time equivalent) practice operates out of a renovated building with a large purpose-built surgery. The hospital is well equipped with digital x-ray machine, ultrasound, endoscope, laryngoscope, IM3 dental machines (including dental x-ray capabilities and vet tomes), blood analysis machines, pulse oximeter, blood pressure monitor, anaesthetic monitoring equipment and more. The computer software used at the practice is Vetlink Pro.

The close-knit, friendly team really care about each other and see a busy caseload with lots of surgery and procedures. They see great clients who want the best care for their pets.

In return, the practice will offer you caring and supportive management, a competitive salary and a happy working environment within their busy, energetic practice.

The practice is conveniently located in a beautiful suburb, close to Melbourne's CBD and public transport. There are an abundance of great cafes, eateries and retailers.
