A large 24-hour referral hospital in Asia is seeking an ER veterinarian to join its international team of specialists and clinicians.

This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of veterinary clinical service and education in one of the most vibrant cities in the world.

You will join a 12 vet team, including specialists who are committed to providing gold standard, 24/7 emergency care.

The hospital houses specialists in dermatology, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, neurology, surgery, oncology, ophthalmology, anesthesiology and pain management, as well as experienced primary care and emergency clinicians.

Details of the role include:

- Developing and expanding the hospital's emergency services.

- Performing a variety of emergency surgeries. Applicants with an interest in surgery will be highly regarded.

- Communicating and liaising effectively with clinicians and nurses working within other departments to ensure continuity of case care.

- Assisting in the clinical teaching of visiting veterinary students may also be required.

This is a full time position entailing a 4 day on, 4 day off work week with 12 hour shifts per day. This includes overnight coverage.

Annual base salary range starts at US $130,000 per year (approximately AUS $196,000 per year) depending on skills, qualifications and experience.

The practice offers CPD allowance and annual leave, 17 days of public holiday leave, medical and life insurance and professional indemnity cover.

The employer is happy to assist with license and visa applications, as well as provide a relocation allowance (if applicable).

Applicants must be registered or eligible to register with the relevant Veterinary Surgeons Board and possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent.
