A friendly practice in Essex is looking for a small animal veterinarian to join their fantastic team!

This is a well-equipped and well-established practice made up of two busy branches. It is known for delivering excellent veterinary care. It offers a family-friendly service delivered by a tight-knit team who prioritise the comfort, health and happiness of pets.

This role will be primarily based at the main site. This is a larger practice with impressive facilities, including on-site lab, x-ray machine, ultrasound, large operating facilities and separate cat and dog wards.

There will be no OOHs required for this role. You will be working 4 to 5 days a week with 1 in 3 Saturdays, but there is some flexibility with this. There will be one or more operation days per week. Minimum 15-minute consults and longer ones can be scheduled.

There is accommodation with sea views a 10-minute drive from the practice, and a car is available if needed.

You would be joining a full-time team of veterinarians, registered veterinary nurses, student nurses, animal care assistants and receptionists.

The team and management are very supportive. The employers are always looking to take on fresh ideas and support people throughout their progression. This is also a training practice for veterinary nurses. The team hold regular gatherings in and out of work.

Sponsorship (work permit) is available for veterinarians looking for permanent, full-time work. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science or other relevant qualification and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner.

The practices are located in a lovely, bustling seaside town in Essex, surrounded by beautiful villages, local amenities such as restaurants and shops, and a beautiful beachfront. Along with plenty to do and see, the area is easily accessible from surrounding areas and you can get a regular train connection to London in around 1.5 hours.
