A position has become available at a family-owned practice in Moreton Bay, Queensland.

The caseload is 100% small animal with the occasional wildlife case. Those with an interest in exotics are encouraged to apply, however, this is not essential.

The team carry out basic surgeries (no orthopaedics required).

Short-term accommodation is available if required.

Applications from those seeking both full or part-time roles are welcome. The current roster for a full time vet involves a 9 day fortnight (4 days one week, 5 days the next). The days to be worked/shifts are flexible. No weekend work is required unless the occasional Saturday is desired. There are no after-hours to be worked. The practice is open between 9 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful vet will receive support from a great team of nurses. The team ensure that patients are the top priority.

Applicants should be team players with great communication skills and a friendly approach. The ideal vet for the role will love their job and be proud of what they do.

Further study and CPD courses are encouraged. Lunch breaks are ensured.

The practice is equipped with an IDEXX machine, dental machine, ECG, anaesthetic machine and a Mindray monitor.

The practice is situated in a quiet and friendly suburb. There are plenty of amenities, public transport, and schools. Brisbane's CBD can be reached in just under 40 minutes.
